Mindi Chen
Associate, Impact Investing
As a first-generation college student and daughter of immigrant parents, Mindi has always valued how education, community and access to capital can transform lives and generations. Her motivation is to increase agency in others and expand access to opportunity. Mindi is a mentor to first-gen students and a co-founder and board member of Northeastern University’s student-led impact fund, NU Impact.
Mindi started her career working in investment management at Goldman Sachs and UBS, where she was part of a team managing portfolio investments for entrepreneurs. Most recently, while pursuing her MBA, she was a strategy and operations fellow at an early-stage edtech and workforce startup, a venture summer associate with WGU Labs Fund and a venture fellow with EduLab Capital Partners.
Mindi has an MBA from MIT Sloan and a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from Northeastern University.
